VJ is a medical doctor, educator and public health professional. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University, Thailand, with a special focus on vaccinology and infectious disease modelling. His current PhD project is a modelling-based study on fine-tuning vaccination strategies to achieve and sustain measles elimination in the ASEAN, with Thailand as a case study.
