Lohsshini’s work focuses on dengue perception studies, exploring public and stakeholder views for implementation of a dengue vaccine in Singapore. Currently, she works with Prof Hannah Clapham’s supervision. Besides dengue, she has a keen interest in gender studies/social issues and is looking at gender disparities in COVID-19 publications and media representation during the pandemic. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Life Science, specializing in Biomedical Science with a minor in Public Health (2022).
Outside of work, her interests are fitness, music and travel. She is on a mission to catch every musical that visits Singapore. Her gym routine currently focuses on building strength and stamina to carry luggage up steps, cobblestone roads and in snow.
