Maxine is a PhD candidate and Research Associate at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. Her research primarily focusses on the development of within-host and epidemiological models to elucidate infection and outbreak dynamics, and their interplay with immunity. To date, she has been involved in research regarding a variety of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, dengue, and respiratory syncytial virus. 

Outside of work, she loves the aerial arts and can often be found on her favourite apparatus, aerial silks, despite her persistent fear of heights.
