Vaccine value can be assessed from multiple perspectives including health benefits, safety, economic impact, equity, acceptance, feasibility, antimicrobial resistance, and broader socio-economic benefits. As a case study of an existing vaccine, we will discuss the health, economic, and equity impact of HPV vaccination. As a case study of new vaccines in the pipeline, we will discuss the health and economic impact and broader socioeconomic benefits of potential Strep A vaccination. As a case study of a newly licensed vaccine, we will discuss the evidence gaps for chikungunya vaccine introduction and implementation.

Join us at the Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research (HIPER) Symposium 2024 where distinguished speakers from APAC Ministries of Health and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) practitioners gather to discuss the emergence of key challenges and advancements in HTA practice and policy. The symposium seeks to engage stakeholders in the entire healthcare ecosystem and equip all participants with the knowledge to contribute to the HTA process. Attendees can also engage with seasoned professionals in workshops. The hands-on learning opportunities will enhance their skills in areas such as evaluating company submissions and communicating value to stakeholders.
